The cooperation between the ILO and AICESIS will develop this year. First, as part of the implementation of the Seoul Declaration, a training workshop for members of the Congolese ESC, on “The ESC and social dialogue capacity building for an effective and sustainable social protection floor” will be held in July 2015 in Brazzaville. Moreover, the AICESIS-ILO annual conference will be held at the end of October 2015 in The Hague in cooperation with the Dutch SER, on “The role of ESC/SIs and social dialogue in promoting workplace compliance” (title tbc). Finally, the cooperation will be strengthened with the development of the world database of ESC/SIs. A joint progress report on the implementation of the cooperation Agreement will be presented to the next AICESIS General Assembly.

29-30 October (The Hague, Netherlands): Conference organized in cooperation with the ILO and the SER on “The role of ESC/SIs and social dialogue in promoting workplace compliance

As usual, a detailed questionnaire on “The role of ESC/SIs and social dialogue in promoting workplace compliance” will be sent out to all members in order to draft the background paper of the conference.

ECOSOC Working Group: « How to ensure the transition from the Millennium Development Goals to those for Sustainable Development? ». In its capacity as Chair of this group, the Algerian CNES prepared a second note transmitted to all AICESIS members and aimed at collecting their views.

4-5 June (Geneva, Switzerland): Speech by the AICESIS President, Mr. Evgeny Velikhov, at the ILO International Labor Conference on “Small and medium-sized enterprises and decent and productive employment creation”. This speech was prepared by a working group led by the Luxembourg ESC.

6-10 July (New York, USA): Speech by the AICESIS President, Mr. Evgeny Velikhov, at the UN ECOSOC high-level segment on « How to ensure the transition from the Millennium Development Goals to those for Sustainable Development? ».
