On 17 and 18 September 2015 in Moscow (Russia) at the headquarters of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation (CCRF) the 14th International Meeting on "National Human Capital and new sources of national competitiveness," and the AICESIS General Assembly ending the CCRF mandate provided for 2013-2015 will be held. The Assembly will finalize the exchange of experiences on the "The role of ESCs and civil and social dialogue in the fight against corruption and economic crime" and "The role of ESCs and civil society organizations in the fight against poverty" and will decide the opening of new works. On this occasion the 2015 AICESIS MDGs Awards will be given.

Training workshop for the Congolese ESC members on "Capacity building of the ESC and the social dialogue for an efficient and sustainable social protection floor", in cooperation with the ESC of Congo and the ILO.

ILO: A training Academy on Social Security is organized by the ILO Training Centre in Turin (Italy) from 21 September to 2 October 2015. As in 2014 with the Academy on social dialogue, AICESIS encourages the participation of its members in the event.

Joint meeting of the CCE and the CNT which issued a unanimous opinion on "Liaison to well-being 2015-2016 - Law on the solidarity pact between the generations - Pact of competitiveness, employment and recovery".

The EESC held on 27 and 28 May in Brussels (Belgium) its 508th plenary discussions including discussions on the "Development Agenda after 2015" and the "European Agenda on migration".

Mr Mahamat Ali Abdallah General NASSOUR, President of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, died on May 12 in Paris (France) from a long illness at the age of 54.

Organisation on 1 July in Dakar (Senegal) of a joint workshop UCESA-UCESIF on "The challenges of climate change, responses and funding to support mitigation and adaptation of economies - The COP 21 challenges ".

The General Assembly was held in Rabat (Morocco) on June 11. On the occasion the Moroccan ESEC took the UCESIF presidency.
