The new AICESIS roadmap presenting the Presidency's working priorities of the Dominican Republic ESC for 2015-2017, was sent to all members. This document is available in French, English and soon in Spanish.

FOR THOSE MEMBERS WHICH HAVE NOT YET DONE SO: please make as soon as possible the transfer of the 2015 contribution to AICESIS that has still solely depended on its members contributions.

AICESIS work in progress

The Moscow GA has set up a working group to prepare the AICESIS's contribution to UN ECOSOC High Level Segment which will be led by the ESC of Benin. The theme for 2016 is Implementing the Post 2015 Development Agenda: Moving from commitment to results.

The role of ESCs - SIs in the fight against poverty-related inequalities”. A draft guidance note will be sent to get members comments in December 2015.

The Moscow GA has set up a working group to prepare the AICESIS contribution at the ILO 2016 International Labor Conference, with the Dutch SER as leader, on global supply chains. The AICESIS intervention will be based on the conclusions of The Hague Conference (29-30 October 2015) on the same subject.

On 11 September 2015, a new law on social dialogue entered into force in Poland. The Act provides that Tripartite Commission for Social and Economic Affairs will be replaced by Social Dialogue Council. The composition remains as it was (employees, employers, government) but the numbers of representatives will change. The Chairman will be held alternatively by a representative of the employees and the employers, appointed by a respective party and being a member of the Council, and of the government party, appointed by the Prime Minister.

On 15 September, the ESDC concluded a very important Tripartite Agreement on structural reforms of the labor market to ensure sustainable development of the Korean economy and to keep social cohesion.
