The AICESIS - ILO global database is online! This database aims to bring together all the ESCs and similar institutions in the world, whether they are members or not of our association. This new tool offers direct access to detailed information (general presentation, institutional characteristics, functioning, competencies and works, etc.). In addition, it offers a possibility to easily search for comparing characteristics or works on a specific topic of the ESCs-SIs. The updating of data about each institution is easily and immediately by contacting the AICESIS secretariat. Every listed institution is invited to send us the updates and the relevant information at: . Finally, a user guide detailing the new possibilities of the database is available.

ECOSOC Working Group: « How to ensure the transition from the Millennium Development Goals to those for Sustainable Development? ». In its capacity as Chair of this group, the Algerian CNES prepared a first note transmitted to all AICESIS members and aimed at collecting their views.
The Dutch SER will draft the AICESIS contribution at the 2016 ILO International Conference on "Global supply chain". The conclusions of The Hague Conference (29-30 October 2015) on the same topic will be the basis for this contribution.

The Economic and Social Development Council (CDES) holds its 44th Plenary Session on January 28th in Brasilia with updated composition 2016 brought a fresh start to the Brazilian government and civil society. The meeting discussions revolved around the theme “Pathways to Brazilian Development”. The new Executive Secretary is Mr. Jaques Wagner, Minister of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic.
On October 22, 2015, the Tripartite Commission was replaced by Council Social Dialogue, that brings together employees, employers and the government. It ensures the economic and social development conditions and improves the competitiveness of the Polish economy and social cohesion. It works for the enforcement of the rules of social participation and solidarity in employment relations and the improvement of the quality of formulating and implementing socio-economic policies to create a national tripartite social consensus.
